Boston, MA – October 14, 2023 – LUMINECHO, the solo project of producer and artist Juan Riera Gómez, has teamed up with the eclectic Ganoush Collective to release their collaborative single, “Run Free.” This new track blends jazz fusion, electronic indie, and drum and bass, showcasing a dynamic and fluid mix of genres that defies traditional boundaries.
“Run Free” explores themes of escaping duality and searching for freedom beyond the superficial, with lyrics that encourage listeners to “escape the need” and “look beyond the trees.” Fully produced and mixed by LUMINECHO, the song features intricate solos by Austin Wilson and Matthew Drake, rhythmic brilliance by Lole Curik on drums, and deep grooves by Michael Dunaway on bass. Lilith contributes on the drum machine, adding a unique electronic pulse to the track. The backing vocals, performed by Tessa Wilson, Keana, and Leah Parrett, bring depth and harmony, enhancing the track’s emotive power.
The track’s technical side shines as well, with Chiara Baume, Mia Govoni, and Charlie Dietel serving as tracking engineers, and Justin Livingson providing the mastering to give the track its polished, professional sound.
